Led by Managing Director Steven Bartley, our team practices hands-on leadership in our searches and related consulting engagements.

Founder, Managing Director
20-year career with global consulting firms (Accenture, PWC, Unisys) in Latin America and the US.
Transitioned to retained executive recruiting in 2001, establishing the Miami “gateway” model.
Founded Americas Gateway in 2012 as an independent boutique.
Concurrently engaged in entrepreneurial ventures since 1998.
Experienced speaker and published writer on technology and management.
Holds degrees in Management Science and MBA in International Management.
Born in Uruguay to US parents, operates in a multicultural environment.

Monica Loria Araya
Recruiting Research and Consulting Lead

10-year career, beginning in HR roles with top hospitality leaders and XX years in US Sales for a major global seafood company.
Extensive ties to food and hospitality industries, with additional multi-industry experience.
Provides HR consulting alongside recruiting research, specializing in HR process improvement.
Successfully recruited numerous executives in sales, operations, and administration, both in-house and with Americas Gateway for the past two years.

Jaime Pinaud
Associate Partner (Chile)
Holds Psychology degree, having started work career in talent acquisition and HR consulting.
Transitioned to internal HR functions with several leading Chilean entities (for profit and official entities) and an international career with Microsoft Latin America.
Currently based in Santiago, Americas Gateway’s representative in Chile for local client and candidate needs and issues, leading engagements for positions in Chile, and providing remote support for US assignments.
